Opus 1 #60, PokerBash Blast

Sold, Thanks

Specs:
Grade: C
Height: 2.0"
Diameter: 1.68" at the top
Overall Length: 5.7"
Chamber Diameter: .75"
Chamber Depth: 1.7"
Weight: 48 grams (1.7 oz)

Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut Brindle (Cumberland) Stem, pre-ban ivory accent, and Delrin tenon. I'm retiring the PokerBash Opus 1 pipes and this is the last one. Dark brown staining on a nice ring grain blast. Subtle hint of straight grain still visible from bellow the blast. One small flaw blasted out a bit. Look at the nomenclature picture--I initially mis-stamped this with a five instead of a six in the # 60. It's not distracting to the naked eye, but certainly want to point it out as a possible issue.

This pipe was donated to my good friends at the Greater Kansas City Pipe Club for the silent auction held at thier  2011 Pipe and Tobacco Show, June 25th and 26th. I had recently re-worked the stem and bit. It is now thinner and should have a little more open draw. These changes are not reflected in the pictures bellow.

#85, Bulldog, Partial Blast

Specs:
Grade: No Grade, Stamped ST
Height: 1.75" (45 mm)
Diameter: 1.75" (45 mm) at the top
Overall Length: 5.75" (146 mm)
Chamber Diameter: .75" (19mm)
Chamber Depth: 1.28" (33 mm)
Weight: 57 grams (2 oz)

Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut German Ebonite Half saddle stem with an integral tenon. A graceful but somewhat squat Bulldog with a good deal of Danish influence. Nice ring grain blast. However, it has major issues that prevent it from being stamped and graded. a. two flaws blasted out and b. the tenon and mortise, while matching, are shorter than I normally like. Still, I love the look and feel of this piece over all and it was a heartbreaker. I haven't decided it's fate yet. I might sell it as a second, but I'm leaning toward keeping it.

ST 104, Blasted Bent Ball

Specs:
Height: 1.46 " (37 mm)
Diameter: 1.60" (41 mm)
Overall Length: 5.36" (136 mm)
Chamber Diameter: .70" (18 mm)
Chamber Depth: 1.0" (26 mm)
Weight: 1.25 oz (36 grams)

A small Danish influenced bent ball with small capacity. I really like this pipe and decided to finish it for myself in spite of a very large flaw opening up in the shank. I'm hoping to make more along these lines, only without the flaw!
