Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut German Ebonite stem and an integral tenon. Very graceful lines. An interesting blast with straight grain highlights showing through a beautiful ring grain blast. A very light pipe, small in size, but with a generious chamber and excellent balance.

Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut German Ebonite stem, boxwood insert, and an integral tenon. Very graceful lines. Wonderful straight grain highlights showing through a beautiful ring grain blast. A very light pipe with excellent balance, which should be an excellent smoker.

This pipe was donated to my good friends at the Greater Kansas City Pipe Club for the silent auction held at thier  2011 Pipe and Tobacco Show, June 25th and 26th. I had recently re-worked the stem and bit. It is now thinner and should have a little more open draw. These changes are not reflected in the pictures bellow.

Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut German Ebonite Stem and integral tenon, and a Black and White Ebony endcap. A largish Danish influenced bent egg with generous bowl capacity. An interesting mix of straight grain around the upper bowl and along the shank, flame grain with a little fall out in the mid part of the bowl, and birdseye grain on the bottom and top and bottom of the shank. This pipe is nicely balanced, and light for its size and capacity.
