Smooth Pokerbash, Opus 1 #40, Grade B

$325, Sold 2-16-08, Thanks!

Specs:
Grade B
Height: 2.37"
Diameter:1.74"
Overall Length: 6.5 "
Chamber Diameter: 3/4"
Chamber Depth: 1.61 "
Weight: 48 grams (1.65 ounces)

Made from Italian Plateaux briar with a hand cut Cumberland Stem, Delrin tenon, and Ivory accent.

This grade B Pokerbash has nice birdseye on the top and bottom, and stunningly beautiful straight grain flowing nearly completely around the entire piece, with just a hint of fall out along the front. The pictures simply don't do it justice. Two small specs on the top, otherwise exceptionally clean.

This is a very nice, somewhat larger and very rare smooth rendition of the PokerBash. Nicely balanced proportions.

Opus 1#59, PokerBash Blast, Grade D

$ 225 Placed, June 2008, Thanks!

Chamber Depth: 1.7"
Weight: 54 grams (1.9 oz)

Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut Brindle (Cumberland) Stem, pre-ban ivory accent, and Delrin tenon. A very good example of my PokerBash blast--traditional (for this design) dark brown staining on a nice ring grain blast. Subtle hint of straight grain still visible from bellow the blast. Nice smooth birdseye top and bottom.

Opus 1 #60, PokerBash Blast

Sold, Thanks

Specs:
Grade: C
Height: 2.0"
Diameter: 1.68" at the top
Overall Length: 5.7"
Chamber Diameter: .75"
Chamber Depth: 1.7"
Weight: 48 grams (1.7 oz)

Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut Brindle (Cumberland) Stem, pre-ban ivory accent, and Delrin tenon. I'm retiring the PokerBash Opus 1 pipes and this is the last one. Dark brown staining on a nice ring grain blast. Subtle hint of straight grain still visible from bellow the blast. One small flaw blasted out a bit. Look at the nomenclature picture--I initially mis-stamped this with a five instead of a six in the # 60. It's not distracting to the naked eye, but certainly want to point it out as a possible issue.
