Pipe Making

Style and Influence

Ideally new pipe makers develop their own unique style, as influenced by the great body of work that proceeds them. My own style is still developing, and I hope it always will. For the present my pipes tend either toward traditional shapes, with a somewhat Danish influence, or Danish style freehands with a bit more traditional influence.

Essays and photo essays

I always enjoy seeing and reading how something is made, or why it is made, and especially in regards to pipes! Every pipe maker does things a little differently, and for different reasons, so I thought perhaps some of you might be interested in the way I make pipes, and why I make them. I will add more links here as I can write about my passion for pipe making, and as I can take more pictures of the processes:
