Christmas Pipes 2022, and a wand!

Fun projects! The wand is made from holly, the material used for Harry’s first wand. Phoenix feathers are a bit hard to source here in Western Kentucky, so the core for grandson’s wand is from a very powerful feather left by one of Kentucky Lake’s avian visitors. The case for the wand is locally sourced maple and walnut.

The 2022 Christmas pipes are my straight bulldog shape. Tanblasts, a white holly accent–a different variety of holly than the wand, with less magical powers, but it shapes and polishes up a little nicer..
