2014 Christmas Pipes, contrast blasted bent eggs w/celluloid

It’s hard for me to believe another Christmas has come and gone, and along with it, the entire year!

The Christmas pipe tradition is a wonderful part of the pipe World. As some of you know, I started my own tradition with it several years ago by making my sons matching pipes for Christmas.

I have been blessed with three sons who all smoke pipes. Two of them on a regular basis, and the third enjoys one occasionally, including last night when we enjoyed a late Christmas evening pipe in the workshop as the culmanation of an amazing Christmas celebration!

The 2013 Christmas pipes were Blasted Lovats, 2012 Christmas pipes were blasted straight bulldogs, 2011 Christmas Pipes were smooth Lovats, and Christmas 2010 was the first year of making the boys pipes for Christmas. They were different shapes for each. The very first 2006 Christmas pipe for for my middle son, John, who loves Bulldogs and loves Christmas, and was the only son smoking pipes at the time.

Here are some pics of this years Christmas pipes. CCP 321 is Christopher’s Christmas Pipe, JCP 322 is John’s, and DCP 323 is Daniel’s.

Merry Christmas, all, and a happy, healthy, and prosperious New Year to you and your family, to include, I hope, many wonderful pipes!
