I was glad to have such a nice pipe for my 50th! Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut German Ebonite Stem and integral tenon.

This is a beautiful pipe with excellent grain (flame and straight all the way around the bowl). A couple of very small sand specs can be seen in the pics on the bottom and side of the shank. These keep this a grade B instead of an A, but they are not the least bit distracting to my eye.

This is the largest, and most beautiful of the A.S.P. 2008 POY’s I’ve finished to date, and the only smooth, and very light for it’s size. Unfortunately the pictures simply do not do it justice–I’ve got to get a better camera!
