Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut German Ebonite full tapered stem with an integral tenon. A graceful Bulldog with a longish shank and a hint of Danish influence. Beautiful straight grain on the sides, front, and back of the bowl, flowing from very nice birdseye top and bottom. Just a hint of fall out keeps this an afforadable grade B. I love the look and feel of this piece over all. Very clean, with only one tiny spec I’ve found, and it’s very difficult to see without magnification.
